    Basketball team spent $22 million?

Seriously? They are horrible and a pathetic return on investment. I doubt they’ll be .500 this season. Paying a freshman a pile of money is ignorant.

It is OK to be here. Maybe the point is UK should spend less on the basketball NIL and more toward the football NIL. Like other SEC teams that are winning more than losing so far.

Nobody publicly knows the number, so it's silly to keep throwing it out there.

However, there is something terrible wrong with the basketball team. Even if they weren't being paid anything, it's unacceptable.

I was making sure you knew where you posted.

Ain't my job to police where posts go. lol

I've done it, though. Meaning that I posted something in the wrong place on accident.

My understanding as well. However, I don't understand how NIL actually works. I thought NIL was money a business was willing to pay an athlete to promote their business. This is different from the approx 21M in the House settlement pot. How does a school allocate NIL money? Seems like it's the business who makes the decision to pay a player for promoting the business. Are the collectives still in operation? if so, who allocates this money.
