Will Stein momentum is a real thing!

One of the highest rated WR prospects flips to KENTUCKY!!! Plus he got the TE prospect that was committed to Kentucky before and finished wrapping him up.

The most optimistic I’ve been since Will Levis took us to 10-2

If I'm not mistaken, the new OC was his lead recruiter at LSU.

His defensive staff will be key to us having a chance. UK has always had issues getting strong offense and defense at same time. Mumme would had been gold with defense, Stoops with offense. White had good defense, Kiffin realized that.
with a good D we got a shot at 5 6 or 7wins but our schedule is brutal, as is everyone else's. Tn Def was terrible but still managed a 8 win season. Vandy had both. Had we been able to score 35 a game we are bowling and Stoops is still coaching

Yes, and we will likely be treated to a drip-drip momentum effect until the final signing day and NIL transfers are counted.

Two years ago, perhaps the weakest traditional Power Conference teams in the history of football, IU and Vandy, respectively brought in multiple players from James Madison (8 started for IU last year) and at least 4 notable Vandy players came from NMS along with Coach Jerry Kill.

In his last presser, Coach Stoops made the point that significant turnarounds can be achieved year-over-year with NIL and the Portal, an observation I found ironically not very helpful for his retention.

I’m hoping we see some of the top talent from LSU (a Louisiana 4 Star HS commit in the bag) and even Oregon. January, the Portal and the final NSD should be very interesting.

And as the hires accumulate, we might see Group of 5 Coaches coming in that bring some real developed talent, even if not on Diego Pavia’s level.

White had four successive seasons with a Top 20 Kentucky defense.

Give him a few more 4 Stars (likely accessible for UF), and look out.

Lane don’t need to advise or interfere with Coach White, and I bet he doesn’t.

[And given that Lane is at LSU, he probably won’t!]. Lol!!
