    Hartline to USF?

Wow, must have low confidence in himself to choose South Florida over UK. Or, maybe he was not a serious contender. Mood point but interesting.

I think it's pretty clear that Stein was option 1 and Hartline was option 2 from how quick this moved. He didn't choose USF over UK...he just wasn't offered a job. I actually think he could have gotten the Penn State job at the end of the day if he waited long enough.

Fascinating what's going on with Penn St.

Have to think Stein's Kentucky ties put him at the top over Hartline. I figure the potential for some level of loyalty to the program because of the family and local ties probably weighed in his favor.

            USF has potential.

Get someone good down there, they could make moves on a weak FSU and the Gators.

The right coach could make big waves and then move up to a big time program.

USF has a chance to be the top G6 program. Getting their own stadium and moving out of the Bucs place was a big plus for them. I would have been satisfied with Golesh at UK.
