Hartline or Stein?

I hope UK at least talks to both but I would pick Hartline first if he wants it. Though I like Stein's background I think his recruiting at Oregon has West Coast bases which not sure you get West Coast kids to leave that side of the country plus Ore/Nike NIL was 40M this season which really helps. I feel with Mike already on the Staff and that Hartline could really recruit well in Ohio IMO, so he the guy I want. Thoughts?

A Sea of Blue is saying that it's going to be either Stein, Hartline or Mullen. They don't think UK will need to look further than those. Also that it should happen fast.

I try to have a pretty strict BS filter, but here in the last 10 minutes I've seen some relatively believable posts that Stein is the one and that he's accepting. Those posts could have just been spreading rumors, though.

At this point I would rather see UK again try for a OC/DC to promote than a guy like Mullen or Kelly something like that. No baggage as HC.

We need a OC type of head coah to get the offense going and make sure he has the contacts to get one of the better up and comer DC types. Hope it is tonight / tomorrow so we get time to sign a few HS kids and then have time to swing for the fences for Portal players. We will wait and see what we lose off the existing roster.

If we get Brain Hartline, I’m drinking Blue Koolaide. This guy is really good and we already have Mike. Brian recruited and coached the best WR’s in the country.

I like Mullen, he's a proven winner in the SEC. Between Hartline and Stein I would prefer Hartline. I would think his brother would stay on and continue working with Boley and Hartline should be able to keep our recruiting in Ohio.
