This team was not prepared, this team quit last week. The staff does not care and they also quit last week.. It will not matter stay or go. We are now in a hole that will be almost impossible to get our of at this point. Stoops almost acts like he is burning down the campus on his way out the door. And he might be in the burning building for another year. I do not know of a legit head coach that would want this job at this point. By pure looks, the Administration does not care about football and does not really care about sports in general. The contracts speaks volumes. Heck UK does not even run it any longer. JMI is running it at this point. They are working the NIL and naming Commonwealth and such. This is not just a football thing either. It is just not showing its full self quite yet. I think it is about time in my life to be done with the whole sports thing and UK because it is an empty relationship. The university only cares about $$$$ and not the product they are producing. It is like going to your favorite restaurant (we have all had one) that back in the day was great (service, food, price and such) and now you go and it is like a shell of itself. UK as an organization is becoming a shell of itself.

Women sports is doing OK, baseball is doing what they have been doing. The cash cow is being milked for every dollar. Football and Basketball are not a product to be proud of anymore. Basketball can turn around this year, possibly but not looking good so far. We will know more in a couple of days.
