UK - Vandy Game Thread

With our depleted defense and Vandy's mediocre defense (Auburn pushed them around all day last week), I would think today's game will be relatively high scoring. The O/U line is 53.5, so Vegas thinks so, too. For UK to win, I believe we have to create a couple of turnovers that result in points as I don't think we'll be successful counting on getting stops. Pavia is very slippery, they love to throw quick flat passes for easy yards (which we love to concede), they'll be creative with misdirection and shovel passes and ???. If we can get some cheap points (ST or TOs), I think we can win. But, I expect a pretty high scoring game - 33-30 or something along those lines. I don't believe either team will be comfortably ahead in the 4th so both fanbases will be chewing their nails deep into the 4th.

A 6th win (and 3rd SEC) would be a huge indicator that the program may, in fact, be heading in the right direction. 3 weeks ago I thought it was a foregone conclusion that Stoops had to go. Winning 6 games this year (and, actually, 5, also) with the schedule we had shows progress and I don't think you can everyone at the end of the season even if we lose the last 2. I would guess it's 50/50 we win one, though, and 6 wins exceeds preseason expectations for this team.

Get use to it barnhart will give Stoops another lifetime at the end of the season. Remember we beat crappy auburn and a horrible Florida team with a interim coach god help us

How did Boley not see Hester wide open crossing directly in front of him? Offense looks completely out of sync. OL not getting much of a push, Boley not finding guys, play calling is very predictable.

A big turnover here would help immensely. Can't afford to go down 17.
