Can't believe Matt's prediction. Same as mine, Vandy by 10.

Vandy averages 38.3 ppg this year.
Vandy allows 22.2 ppg this year.

It is possible to score against Vandy.

We must contain Diego Pavia. You have to hit him hard and hit him early but mostly you have to contain him. He's a runner.

Auburn put up 38 on them.

        Texas put up 34.

        SEC Play

        Opp: 23.8ppg
        Vandy: 28.2ppg

Vandy allows opponents to score. The problem is that Diego gets loose and is hard to control AND he makes plays. Limit that, you limit Vandy. Easier said that done, apparently. I say put someone on him and HIT HIM HARD repeatedly. Slow him down and put the fear of GOD into him.

If Boley can run a little and air it out without interceptions and we can keep turnovers and stupidity to a minimum. If Bush keeps them off balance. If Stoops doesn't smoosh down the offense. This is a winnable game.

I'm gonna call it Kentucky wins.

        Kentucky 38 - Vandy 31

Now, if Stoops does Stoops with the offense, Kentucky could lose by two touchdowns easily.

Hopefully, Stoops and Bush got with Stella and found their groove together.

          We'll see.

Gotta a feeling it is Vandy's weekend. We are down 2 defenders. Our young guys will play hard but Vandy will exploit our holes in the defense. Vandy by 13 to 17.

Last 2 games on the road—won’t be favored in either. BUT we have reason to hope. Who expected that a month ago? I’m going to be optimistic—we win a squeaker. Get bowl eligible before invading Lville.

My predictions have been way off. More proof that I'm clueless, I guess. That being said, I pick the cats to win both of the last 2 games.

I think Vandy has this one.

Well, the Cats have done better than I predicted they would the last 3 games. So, sticking with that (and hoping it works), I'll say Vandy wins by 13.

(Just noticed I had already predicted UK to win a few posts earlier. Sometimes I'm not the brightest coin in the fountain)

This is a tough one. Vandy has experienced a slight slump lately. Gave up a ton of yards and points to Auburn whose offense was completely throttled against us. Matchups change things, obviously, but AU's OL was MUCH more effective against Vandy than against us. That gives me some hope. Missing Afari, especially, who I assume would've been the spy on Pavia, will hurt the defense. Their OC is very crafty and will use a lot of quick passes to make 2nd and 3rd downs very manageable, will use the shovel pass effectively, let Pavia RPO and create, a lot of misdirection, etc. If we play super focused and disciplined, I think we can hold them in the 20s. That means our suddenly alive offense will need to score in the high 20s or more. It can happen and, honestly, should happen if Vandy's defense is what I saw against AU.

I believe it will be a close one with Vandy winning late: 23-20. I can also see UK winning 27-21. But, I think Vandy gets this one.

34-27 Vandy. We're competitive, we score on them, but Pavia is too much for us.
