    Salary level reset for coaches

Where will all this madness end? It appears that the top teams will need to pay $14-$15 million to keep their coach. I completely detest the direction college football is headed. I detest what Mitch did for season tickets. I’ll never attend another game, I don’t care if it’s free. College institutions are a part of our economic destruction that’s coming. Ridiculous

What did Barney do for season tickets?

Mandatory blue / white fee as I recall. That’s was my cue to quit buying them.

I used to have season tickets for football, mean and women’s basketball. I don’t have any now. Barney out priced me. But you gotta pay these coaches.

College football seems to be following the NFL model - receive enough revenue from TV and you don't really need (or care) fans to show up. The college game, at least currently, does need fan support ($$$) for NIL but that's about it. I mean, each SEC school receives $50M or so from TV, a few more millions from bowl receipts - how much more do they need to bankroll the football program. The other sports, for sure, need fans to buy tickets and merch, but I'm not convinced that football, by itself, needs a whole lot of ticket, parking and concession revenue.

My seats in the public seating on the upper visitor side as of this season required no donation and most of the seats behind me had visiting fans sitting in them.

Season tickets? It’s on season tickets I believe. Maybe there’s sections that don’t require it.

Yes they're season tickets, they're on the 50 yd line and I've sat there for years. But it won't surprise me if in the coming years I'll have to make a "donation" to keep them.

There's still an area in the stadium that doesn't require the K-Fund donation. That's where my butt is parked. But they did add the K-Fund donation to all of the season parking passes too. That's been going on for a while now as has the K-Fund for the season tickets depending on where you sit. All I know, is that they better announce the tailgating arrangements/shakeups for next year prior to putting the season tickets on sale because that will likely determine whether some people renew or not. It's definitely looking like it may impact our ability to tailgate next year. At least in the way we've been accustomed to for all these years.

That's the area I was in, Section 205 close to the aisle between 205 & 206

I sit at the top of 225 and there is no K Fund fee for those. Not yet anyway.
