I think The staff saw Boley’s bad day against Louisville and convinced themselves that they needed to go get a “proven” QB out of the portal to have a chance at bouncing back this year. Unfortunately, they either had poor talent evaluation or didn’t have enough discipline to pass on lesser targets and ended up blowing a bunch of money on someone who wasn’t any better and may actually be worse. Just more evidence that it’s probably time for a change at the top if there’s any way to make that happen.Comment

I still think Calzada is no worse than Boley. In Cutter's first game this year, he certainly didn't look any better. And he was pretty bad in the Auburn game.
But that doesn't take away from the point that we need a lot better coaching.Comment

That is a team cancer. If he is doing this on the WWW what do you think he is doing in the locker room. Trying to divide the players and such. This should be an easy, Calzada has been let go from all team activities. If something happens to Boley you with with Beau or Stone and move forward. No need for this type of person on a Team SPORT!!!!!!Proverbs 25:24Comment

It seems that since Vince got taken out of recruiting a couple of years ago, it's been a down hill jaunt with management of that aspect of the program.
No idea if it was actually Vince who managed it better or if it was someone else.
I do know that Stoops and crew absolutely suck at it now.
Player management is questionable at best as well.
I look for anyone who is any good on this program to jet in the off season.
And Stoops and Co will waste another 10 or Twenty million all over again.
