TX vs Vandy, other games

24-3 late in 2nd quarter. Arch is having a big game so far. Vandy looking kind of toothless at the moment, but they've shown repeatedly that they can come back. Defense needs some stops, though. Can't give up many points in the second half if they're going to have a chance to make this a close game.

UGa v FL might be closer than it appears on paper. Not sure what to expect from FL with Napier gone. Might find out he was the problem or they just aren't that good.

OSU v Penn St was a 'huge' game preseason. Not so much now. I expect OSU to roll.

OSU is rolling Penn State and Texas is smacking Vandy.

Vandy did make it close although their last two TDs were pretty irrelevant. The final score not completely indicative of how easily TX won, imo.

Clemson loses AGAIN - wow. Dabo's seat has to be very, very warm right now. Miami struggling again. They looked so strong earlier and now it looks like last year when they limped down the stretch. I'm afraid the Buckeyes are the class of CFB again this year and have a great shot at repeating.

Down goes Miami. Beck is more of a dud than Arch in my opinion, he’s a vet who was supposed to be a sure thing.

The Vandy/Texas game reminds me of some UK bball games. UK may be having a bad season and another team is having their best season in a while, but UK is always talented enough to rise to the moment and spoil the occasion for an upstart. Vandy may be punching above their weight and Texas has been disappointing, but the talent disparity still favors Texas.

Florida probably should have have won that game, but couldn’t get it done between botching a 4th & 1 deep in Georgia territory when another touchdown could have come close to putting it away and then a really questionable replay review not going their way and taking away their last chance to retake the lead late. This one is going to sting for awhile from their perspective.
