Those people are delusional. They fired a coach less than 2 years after he won a title with one of the best teams I ever saw. I don't think Kelly was Nick Saban but he is a good coach and I seriously doubt they will get anyone that much better plus the will be over 50 million poorer. Dont know why anyone would go to LSU.

I'm surprised that Sumrall would be their first choice. I would think they would look for a more high-profile coach.

Sumrall is the highest profile "ready to move up to P4" HC in this cycle. I believe that even if the Cats move on from Stoops now they will be pretty far down his list. Auburn seems his most likely destination. If not them, Ole Miss if Kiffin moves on. FSU possibly. The reason I'd be surprised if LSU hires him is they consider the other schools in La to be beneath them. And they especially despise Tulane.

I read, this morning, that some sportswriter (I don't recall who) speculated that with all the talk about Sumrall leaving he's having a difficult time keeping his team focused on the task at hand.
