    Deion Sanders.

Besides his serious health problems (which I hope he overcomes), his CO Buffalos are sinking to the depths they occupied prior to his arrival. As I predicted, once his son and Travis Hunter graduated, his coaching would be exposed.

The Buffs are 3-4 (1-3 in conference) but, with 2 minutes remaining in the first half, they trail Utah 40-0 and have NEGATIVE total yards on offense. Obviously, they'll lose tonight to go to 3-6 and have a very real possibility of finishing last again in the B12. No way one of the current jobs open would consider him.

If things continue to go south, CO might let him resign due to health problems rather than firing him. It's ugly tonight. Utah has sacked the CO QB about 7 or 8 times it seems.

The Buffs offense tonight takes the word inept to new lows. Oh yeah, 45 seconds to go in the half and Utah just blocked a punt and have the ball inside the Buffs 10 yard line.

Oh yeah, Mark Stoops, too. But that's really stating the obvious.

Unfortunately his boys showed he’s not who he portrayed. Those kids are brats.

During that first half, the announcing team kept saying how awful CO was and how they'd never seen a P4 team get so completely dominated. IIRC, the halftime score was 43-0 and CO had -18 yards of total offense. I mean, that's ludicrous.

I am out in Denver (think you use to be too) and the hype for CU is now non-existent. The last couple seasons, every bar was filled when the played. Deion got his kids the D1 spotlight, which I really think was his main goal. Wouldn't be surprised, especially with his health issues, if he doesn't step away and maybe go into the studio/booth.

Yep, in Denver area (Arvada) for 7 years. The local hype was so funny - 'we ought to be in the playoff in Deion's 2nd or 3rd year', 'we'll win the conference easily', etc. I suspected he was more hype than actual coaching acumen. I certainly heard some rumors about dissension in the locker room, Deion playing favorites, throwing the kids under the bus in the media, etc. I wish him good health and I think you're right - he should probably step into the booth where he'd be an asset to any announcing team, I believe. He'd have to tone down the constant 'Me, Me, Me' when doing the commentating but I think he's got the personality that would be interesting to listen to on a TV broadcast.
