    Today's games thus far

FSU = pretender; Norvell probably back on the hot seat
OSU = CFP participant and very, very solid
IU v OR = tight game at half; think Ducks put them away in the 2nd half but lU is pretty darn good and would smoke us.
Ole Miss barely squeaks by a weak WSU squad - are they primed to fall short of the CFP again this year?

Would not surprise me if S Carolina upset LSU. I believe Georgia will beat Auburn comfortably tonight. Would not be surprised if SoCal beats MI - teams traveling that far generally do not play well.

Ohio State seems to be as protected from the whistle as SEC contenders usually are. It's disgusting.
Also, Petrino having himself a good first half.
Going forward, Christian Laettner volunteers to catch any dildos flung on a basketball court - or anywhere else.

        Can’t believe Arkansas resigned Petrino.

I hate to say it because I can’t stand them, but Ohio State appears to be hands down the best team so far this year. Everyone in about the 2-10 range is neck and neck, but I haven’t seen a team I would be confident about matching up with them yet.

                ^I tend to agree.

Makes me sick that IU is remarkably good while we're circling the drain.

TX putting it on OU. Mateer is obviously impaired but their OL is about as good as ours, i.e., not good.

TN struggling to put AR away. They're not all that good this year but they'll find their groove against us, I imagine.

I'll be interested to see how AU looks against Georgia and FL v A&M.

IU proved themselves to be the real deal today.

The Illini were exposed as a fraud.

It looks like the talent was there at UCLA but the coach just sucked.

The Manning kid might be getting his balance in the college game. Either that or OU picked a great time to fall apart.

Petrino is doing what he always does.

Makes a team come together to play real football...

Before he inevitably falls into a stupid trap and gets fired again. lol

This dude. Helluva coach and poor life choices.

Just can't help to look at Ark and UCLA and think about what a difference a coach can make.

Too bad we're stuck with droopy stoopy.

Well, Penn St lost to Northwestern for their third loss in a row AND lost their starting QB for the rest of the season.

Judging from their respective first halves, we won't beat either Auburn or Florida. Both have very solid defenses so we'll struggle to score any points, as usual. If they muster 20 points against our D, that's all she wrote.

I dunno. After seeing so many egregiously bad calls, no calls, and willfully wrong calls after reviews in various games today, I have no stomach to watch any more of this. I am beginning to think college athletics needs to be shut down until whatever gambling/corruption/game fixing is investigated and rooted out.
