    Coen

Great win by Jacksonville last night. Coen is a winner, Stoops is a loser.

Coen certainly has made Trevor Lawrence a better QB. Jags are pretty darned good and KC is looking a bit less formidable on offense. Kelce has definitely regressed, not enough speed on the outside to spread the field (they miss Tyreke a BUNCH, although a couple of the younger guys are pretty fast, too), OL has definitely regressed (lost a few to FA as a result of big contracts to the 'stars', imo; sort of how it happens to almost every team, unfortunately).

Coen is still almost without peer in getting his team to score TDs once in the red zone. Uncanny how well he calls plays in that area of the field.

Another "what might have been" storyline when Stoops' history is written.

You think Coen 'failed miserably'? 10-3, bowl win over Penn State, Levis eventually a top 2nd round draft pick, Wandale a 4th - certainly his first stint was about as far from miserable failure as one could get. Second time around was not as good, to be fair, but 'failed miserably'? I don't think so. I get it - Stoops is the root of all our woes. But, Coen was not one of his failures, not by a long shot.

You have a lot of zingers that are just way off base. This is one of them.

UK was a stepping stone (or 2) on Coen’s rise to the big time. More an example (like Dawson) that HE was not the problem while here.

Maybe, but Coen always had his sights on an NFL job. We would have been a stepping stone to him even as a head coach.
