South Carolina game my 2 cents

    1. Our receivers cannot get open
    2. Boley looked slow against this team
    3. Defense cannot tackle or stop a running QB
    4. I cannot see many wins to come
    5. Stoops wants an Iowa type game plan but cannot achieve it and never will.
    6. It’s in the hands of the fans to determine the future

I think we put a lot of money into the line and although better it isn't what was paid for.
receivers cannot separate from SEC dbacks. So they need to concentrate on quick out patterns.

Boley is a redshift freshman that has never lined up against p4 competition. It shows.

Our secondary was really over hyped by Stoops and White.

This season is a looming catastrophe that will put any type of recruiting back to 2 star candidates and 'last chance U' transfers.

      ^ Pretty much.

      1. Yep - all of WRs are subpar. What I don't understand is that we aren't able/smart enough to design/scheme them open like Mike Leach used to do - drag routes across the field, quick timing routes, slants, etc. Instead, we call route trees that depend on the WRs being able to beat/separate from their defender. It hasn't happened yet but, by all means, let's keep trying.
      2. I'm assuming Boley, not Boyer. But, yes. Took too long to make a decision at times, didn't have much time at times, threw the ball up for grabs at times. In essence, looked like an inexperienced QB in SEC hostile environment. Another example of our staff not having at least 2 QBs ready to play, imo.
      3. Yep - been that way for a long time now. And, honestly, not many teams are capable of defending such a QB. Why we don't run a similar offense is beyond my comprehension.
      4. Sadly, yes.
      5. He would come closer to achieving it, imo, with a DT QB than trying to be an NFL offense.
      6. Fans, maybe. Athletic Dept, definitely. They may have to bite the bullet and pay Stoops to go away or sacrifice the next several years, digging the current hole even deeper for the next HC.

100% agree. If Mitch can't see the writing on the wall, he's either blind or sold out to BB only.
