    Scheduling

Jaxcat's thread about upcoming SEC opponents got me to thinking about how I'd like to see the schedule changed. I'd like to see us quit playing the MAC schools and replace them with some of the bottom feeders from the ACC and the Big10. Also, I'd like to see us play Morehead St., EKU, WKU and UofL on a rotating schedule (each team once every four years). I've reached the point where I'm fed up with playing three teams every season that have practically no chance of beating us. Comments anyone?

Can we also stop scheduling 3 teams every year that we don't have any chance of beating?

Seriously, with the cost of tickets nowadays, no reason to schedule directional Michigan schools vs instate schools.

I’d never play U of L if I was AD. Why help them…..

As far as I'm concerned I wouldn't either, but to a lot of UK fans UofL is their rivalry game.

Well, I’m seeing Kiffin to Florida. I won’t doubt that one bit.

I feel exactly the same. Also similarly to playing Indiana in basketball.

I'd like to see UL go on a rotating basis. Play them back-to-back years and then take 2 years off to play another power conference team home and away. Fill the other 2 with MAC schools. I think it would be fun to play teams like Michigan State, Virginia Tech and Iowa State for home and homes.

Well, the Cats got South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida on a regular basis. Doesn’t really matter in my opinion, UK can’t beat anyone on a regular basis. Until Stoops has packed up, it will remain the same.

I think mixing up the OOC lineup is a great idea.

I don't like to be so pessimistic but I'm not so sure Kentucky will be consistently better once Stoops does leave. It just seems to be the way it is for Kentucky football.
