If the reports are right, here are the 2 toughest draws imo:

    Auburn - Bama, UGA, Vandy
    Arkansas - LSU, Texas Mizzou

Well Auburn got what they ask for. They wanted the Iron Bowl and to continue to play UGa.

The three we got are three we've been playing every year forever, so it's really kinda meh. Would have liked to have seen maybe an Arkansas instead of one of the others.

Well look at 2026 schedule: IF SEC can screw a member they will air towards UK.
5 away, 2 years in a row at South Carolina 25 and 26, At Texas AM (2 times there before they play here in 2028), At Oklahoma (UK had to go to Texas first and now Oklahoma first).
I bet you look at the other charter members and you will probably not see the same thing.

I suspect UK requested to be put on the 4 at home for the 26 schedule. We play Louisville at home in 26. Thus we have five P4 home games. In 2027 we get five SEC home games but away to Louisville, again five P4 home games.

Bet we did not request to play at South Carolina 2 years straight. I know there is things that cannot be controlled but it always seems to all to Kentucky to have to deal with it, especially in football. Like I said before if SEC could they would make sure it would be as long as possible for UK to play AM at home and 2028 was as long as they could put it off.

And I'll bet Florida didn't request to play in Lexington two straight years.

I don't think the SEC is out to treat UK unfairly. I think they just don't give a rat's a** about UK. Thus we get what's left over after meeting the needs of the big football schools.

Good catch on Florida. Missed that one. I think the Charter members over all others should have gotten first preference on it all. And maybe they did like you stated, UK has UofL at home (but that should not matter to SEC office). But i get your point. It just rolls down hill. SEC is about UGA/BAMA/Texas and such.
