    Today's offensive gameplan?

I'm going under the assumption that just about anything we run, if executed even halfway, is going to work today. So, if it were up to me, today's gameplan would have at least 50% of the plays I believe we might need against USC and UGa and other SEC teams. I would not call any bubble screens (aren't going to work against those teams), slow developing/long route tree plays that we won't have enough time to develop against the '****************s and Dawgs, etc. I would work on quick hitting timing plays, slants, crossing routes, traditional screens to a RB/TE with blockers out front and similar plays that may be needed against vastly superior opponents to today's EMU. I believe we could run 80% of the time today and win comfortably as long as we don't fumble multiple times. That doesn't prove anything nor does it prepare your team for the next several games which are much more critical if we're to have any chance at a .500 season. If we win big today but aren't well prepared for the next 5 games (USC, GA, TX, TN, AU), we'll be siting at 2-6 and the season will be another lost year.

I'll be interested to see what our offense chooses to work on during today's glorified scrimmage. EMU is woeful and there is no excuse if we don't dominate both sides of the ball today.

They will practice lining up properly.

^Maybe. It just makes no sense to run a bunch of stuff that almost assuredly we won't be using in any subsequent games. I would use the EMU game as a rehearsal for the 'real' games to come later. You don't want to mess around and let EMU remain close. But, double reverses and pass plays where every single receiver is >15 yards down the field, etc. are NOT going to prepare the team for playing SEC opponents, then next 4 of which are all ranked.

Honestly, I'll be pleasantly surprised if it does appear they're working on plays that will be used later. Doesn't seem to occur to Stoops or Hamdan to do so.

I sincerely hope Stoops surprises us and runs "useful" offense.

I'm surprised that every team doesn't run TN's offense as easy as they make it look to score. In comparison, our offense looks like we're tunneling through a mountain with a plastic shovel.

This team is going to be crushed by the SEC.

              I'm sorry.

But Kentucky wins zero games in the SEC this year.

Stoops just sits there looking doofy.

I hate thinking about what is going to happen in the SEC.

              HOLY MOLY!
