I'm not sold that Boley is the 'future' just yet. He's had some good plays tonight and some not so good. We're also playing quite possibly the worst team in FBS or pretty close to the worst. Several passing plays he's had a LOT of time to find a receiver, which he will not have for the next several games. Seems like he loves slinging it downfield when an 8-yard completion is all we need to move the sticks. Hamdan may have something to do with that as I don't see much in tonight's gameplan that we'll be able to execute against much better defenses coming up. He really should have tried to groove several plays that will be in the gameplan in the future - but why start being a smart OC now?

Defense has been mediocre.

Difficult to be truly motivated against a significantly inferior opponent, but still. We needed to play sharp, eliminate big plays, etc. Didn't really accomplish that tonight.

Giving up nearly 500 yards of offense and 23 points to one of the worst teams in FBS, says our defense was really bad. IMO
