Also notice reference to Calzada not returning to practice at end of paragraph 2.

I hope so too. Really nothing against Calzada. But he won the job in practice. 2 actual games in the offense (or passing game) has done nothing. Let’s give the other guy a shot. The season is salvageable if we find some dudes.

I'd say Stoops is feeling the heat. First Calzada then Hamdan?

Hamdan has been a disappointment in this role. SEC defenses do that to a lot of hot and upcoming OCs. Could be we see Hamdan get bought out, E.Gran take that slot as a temp job until everyone bails at season end. I dont think CMS will bail, but 30 plus million must be looking good.

I think it's a definite possibility if things don't improve in the next couple of weeks. Monday was the ideal time as we had EMU then a bye week for Gran to retool. Next open Sat is after the UGa game. I also wonder if we could avoid a buyout by making Eddie "special assistant to the OC" or something like that. Can a "special assistant" call plays?

Ya know the thing about Gran is he just may not want the slot after the last go round.

Anyone can call plays. I can call plays—if Mark Stoops says I can. I’d be no better than Hamdan but I’d be rich.

Can't say that I would hold it against him if he did.

He did but he's practicing, so seemingly healthy.

Mark Stoops is notorious for playing broken players. Stephen Johnson, Will Levis, Vandergriff....Stoops seems to think you aint a man if you cant play and play well with a separated shoulder or bad knees.

In the end it's not Hamden every single offensive coordinator looked good before coming here and some looked good after leaving here. There might be one exception Coen ran a decent offense while here both times. The offense and overall game play just won't get any better especially after year 13 until a change is made at the top.

Well? What's the verdict? Other than throwing more to TEs, I didn't really see anything to show me Boley is any better than Calzada.
