Our receiving corps leaves something to be desired. They have problems in creating space. The game plan doesn't exactly lend itself to a successful passing attack. Maybe Dane Key and Barion Brown knew that and it led to them transferring out.

Maybe it is the fact that a coaching staff in public is still making the statement "We have to go to work and figure this out." You had spring ball, summer workouts, fall camp, 2 games and it is not enough to get a decent product on the court. It is like Cal and the mens team the last couple of years, going even into February saying I am still trying to figure this team out, blah blah stuff.
Football season is 1 to 15 weeks or so. You as a coach have to have your product ready week 1. If not you are behind the 8 ball from the get go.Proverbs 25:24 -
Nah. Those 2 were talented, but lazy.
From the limited time I've seen them, the current bunch might be the opposite.

Dane hasn't exactly lit it up at NE. Brown caught 8 balls yesterday but it was vs some directional LA school that LSU stomped. We'll see as the season progresses if those two are all they thought they were.Comment
