Getting ready for a new season

all complaining and wise guy remarks to the side. I hope Coach Stoops has a successful season, no terrible injuries for any players. I hope for competitive football with the team playing to their ability and as a team. Good, clean, hard hitting football under control.

I have said it often. I can live with losses. Lackadaisical, uninspired, undisciplined play is something else all together.

Lets kick it off and see if we can have a successful season.

I'm an eternal optimist but it's easy to discern when things are going to pot. So I'll start this year off like I do most every year and say we're going to have a winning record and surprise people this year.

I will go into the year sort of like a person from Mizzouri (Show me). I am going to expect what we have seen recently from the team, uninspired, horrible football on the offense, bend and only break every now and again on defense. Does that work out to winning, nope. Get an inspired 85 man (or whatever the number is now) roster, coaches motivated to keep their jobs and we might just win 6 or so games. We do have a top 5 or so strength of schedule which does not typically bode well for BIG BLUE. If we can keep the BIG BLUE WALL solid and not crumbling it will help. IF we can get some pressure on the opposition QB on the regular and it will help. Can we force TO this year?

I expect 6 and 6 type season. That is my going into season most every year with UK and hope to be surprised if they do better. Last year that didn't happen.
