Welcome all you Rivals folks as well as anyone else like myself who’s making a return here. I go way back to the old WCF forums where I helped recruit people from Wildcat Lair over to WCF which eventually became this site. I was always a football guy. Started our traditional tailgates that grew into something special with Rick and Dennis among others responsible for that. I’m glad to be back here and hopefully back to being instrumental in the growth of the site.

As I recall, you recruited me over to WCF on-line, then in some similar proximity in time (maybe a few years later) we bumped into one-another at GABP at a Reds game!

Heck, I was headed to the old site, tonight to celebrate the big flip we stole from Auburn, maybe post a snide shot at Rembrandt just to fire his old arse up, celebrate the Reds rally in Fenway, and then stir some sh!t on the Ukraine (General Discussion) thread . . . .

Instead, I have to put my better reading glasses on, prove that I can differentiate which of multiple pics has a cat in it, copy-and-paste a pass code longer than the waiting list for Savanah Banana games, all whilst mourning the loss of yet another familiar posting home!!!!

Oh well, hope “springs eternal,” and we are 60ish days from kick-off . . . by late August, I’ll be squinting, turning my head to the side, and seeing 8 wins on that Murder’s Row schedule!!

That’s a pretty fair observation, but if we could still access the old site, I could show my cynical posts toward roundball originated after Cal’s shot at football in July/August of 2023. I hated that SOB actually beginning well before his “basketball school” shot that Summer.

I love Mark Pope and have since ‘96, so I am at peace with all things UK Basketball. He has class, understands the program and will not try to divide the fan base or blame us for losses, etc.
