One of the sweetest and most cathartic feelings I've had in Commonwealth. The moment I realized we could do this thing.

I know what you mean, RV. Beating teams like UGa., UF, UT and So. Car. happens so seldom that when it does it's almost unbelievable. Hopefully, that's about to change.Philippians 4:11-4:13 -
It was this moment when I really started to think something different was happening here. I don't understand that call. It was in no way unsportsmanlike. It reminds me of all those technical fouls Anthony Davis used to pick up for being too AWESOME and posterizing someone.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... No offense, but I'll get the feeling that we can do this when we actually start doing it. A pre kickoff dance really signifies nothing. Yes it got me pumped up, but it's just a dance. I'm tired of Kentucky football coming up with slogans, battle cries, and the like. I'm ready for some results. This dance in some ways made me think about the Bill Curry team when he came up with the "black watch" theme. We then had players spouting about going undefeated and winning the SEC and the like. Things like that are just so artificial. Guess what? When you are good, you don't need all that inflated ego garbage. Start producing on the field and then you can back up those claims. This is not a stab at CMS. He is THE guy to get us where we want to be. More so than any UK coach since I've been a UK football fan. Yeah the dance was nice, but it by no means had me thinking that we can do this thing. I'm ready for some footballIsaiah 5:20Comment

I agree with you in principle on contrivances. Win some games, be a rock star, not the other way around. No offense, but I'll get the feeling that we can do this when we actually start doing it. In this case however, I saw that moment as an utterly spontaneous moment where a team was coming together and beginning to believe that they could go out and punch SC in the mouth. (Which they did) It was infectious, it got the coverage team going, the sidelines going, and the stadium rocking in a way that it hadn't in a long time. It was an awesome moment.Last edited by Spiritof96; 08-06-2015, 09:09 PM.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... Like I said, it pumped me up. And we won the game. Hopefully we will start playing that way against the Georgia's and Florida's. Those teams are just on a different level talent wise compared to South Carolina.Isaiah 5:20Comment
