ST and Levis share equal blame on that. More so Levis in my mind. The dude's pocket presence and/or stubbornness to give up a down is absolutely frustrating. And he made that BEAUTIFUL throw to Dane but didn't make sure he was set. 🤬

There is a long, LONG list of things that went wrong today. But in the end “we” fumbled twice in the red zone with the game on the line.

And, while I do not blame him in the least, I am surprised that Brown did not score on that last screen pass. With his speed, I was sure he was gone when he turned the corner. Very surprised by that.

As always, I'm deeply disappointed when we lose, but I learned a lot about the team today. I wondered just how good we were, now I think I know. I still think we'll win 9 maybe 10 games this season. The oline needs to step it up though.

That's up there for one of the most sickening losses in the Stoops era.

In my opinion, that last fumble was on the right tackle Wohlabaugh. He got beat and Levis was looking to his left and didn't even see the guy coming that knocked the ball out of his hand. Wohlabaugh had just come in and he's a RS Fr.

The OL was not great today, but they did not cost us the game.

1st and goal at the 5 yard line with the game on the line — with EVERYTHING on the line — and we choke it up like a hairball.

Even the TD that was called back was not the fatal blow. With 1st and goal at the 5, where was CRod? With the time left, we could have run the ball at least twice. We could have run the clock way down.

I’m sorry. Those of you who know me know I am not usually this negative. I probably should not even be posting right now.

I feel like I do after a big UK basketball loss, and I rarely feel like that after football losses, mainly because I have grown so accustomed to it over the years.

That means that the program is improving. With that said, it felt an awful lot like "classic Kentucky football" today in that we made so many STUPID mistakes.

The only one that I can think of to even rival it would be last year’s UT game. And, I think this one is even worse.

(Oh, and the last two times Ole Miss came to Lexington!)

Sum up....missed fg, missed extra point, safety.
                      6 point swing.
                      Ball game.
                      Gotta execute.

Not to be picky, but it was actually TWO missed extra points, a safety and a missed FG for a total of 7 points.
And, you forgot Brown getting tripped up by his own man when it appeared he was going to score. Add another 7 points.
And Smoke missing a hole and dropping a pass on the possession where we missed the FG. Add another 7 points.
And Levis’ first fumble when it should have been targeting. There’s another 7 points.

But, despite all of this, despite giving away TWENTY-EIGHT possible points, we STILL had first and goal to WIN the game.

                          And we did not.

It has been a LONG time since one hurt this badly.

Would have been top 5 with the dub. Good thing the beer hasn't stopped flowing at Roosters lolol. This is what good football programs feel after a painful loss. I just don't know how many good football programs commit in-game suicide.

Yep. This is NOT the “same ol’ UK football.” But today was a painful flashback of it. Found a way to lose a game we had no business losing.

Should be 5-0 and climbing the polls.
