The Rams have also ask to interview Cortez Hankton, currently the passing coordinator at LSU. He was previously the passing coordinator at UGa during the previous year. Hopefully the Rams will select one of these candidates.

I might be looking through blue-colored glasses, but I think the longer the Rams' search goes the less likely they go for Coen. McVay knows him well, seems like it would have already happened.

I would guess they called him and he declined which prompted them to move on to their next options. The guy from the falcons, apparently they've called someone from LSU, and whoever else. I would imagine he was one of their first calls.

That makes sense, unless they can't get anyone they consider to be better.

You very well may be right but, if that's the case, I wonder why Coen doesn't just address the situation and put it to rest?

I don’t want to burst everyone’s optimism but this could be a Rooney rule situation.

Someone calling themselves the Kentucky Carpool Show posted this on Twitter yesterday.

Coen interviewing for Rams today. I feel like it’s foregone conclusion at this point. I’m holding out hope though 🤞. If he takes the job I’m happy for him and hope he does well and eventually gets a HC job.

Apparently Stoops already has someone lined up. Not certain about this, but I heard he’d pulled someone else from the Rams’ tree.
