Against this defense playing conservative to end the half was the right call, IMO. Especially with our turnover issues this year. I think if you would've told any of us yesterday that we could start the game in the second half down 14-7 we would've all taken it. It was kind of a sloppy half for us. Dive on that fumble and clean up the few penalties and this game looks a lot different. I'm more than pleased with the performance. I still think we lose, and have thought that all week, but if we can at least compete and keep it close we can still make a statement as to how far the program has come.Comment
