    Another huge transfer

Announced this morning that TreVon Morgan transferring from Michigan State to Kentucky.
Morgan was listed as the number 1 receiver in Ohio his senior High School year, rated 4 stars.
Morgan played 1 year at Michigan State after redshirting for knee surgery his freshman year.
This guy is listed as six foot six, 220 pounds.

Did you intend for the thread title to be a pun, Bill?

I saw a comment, on Twitter, that his route running could use some polishing up. When you're as big as he is, though, you don't always have to be wide open.

We may have enough QB and WR transfers to stock a team for someone.

Yeah, I thought someone would catch the title. Kid had a year of rust then a year of Covid. Caught two passes this last season. I think Stoops really liked what Wagner contributed with his size. Like was said on the broadcast this morning....and that size he could bulk up into one of those hybrid Tight Ends the pros seem to like... then again I think the TE room is full too. And defensive back room.

As of this moment, I believe the cupboard is well stocked.

Now we just have to re educate our linemen on pass blocking, our receivers on running routes and catching the ball, and......ah well....with Mark Stoops callin the final shots we will see CRod first and foremost.
          That aint bad either.

I just think Coach Stoops would trash any new offense that scored quick the first couple games that were lost.

Yes, this appears to be another nice pick-up.

However, it would not surprise me in the least if we lost 4 to 6 guys from the WR room after Spring ball, if not sooner. The numbers we have there are simply not sustainable. In addition to the current logjam, they will also put us at a severe disadvantage on the recruiting trail.

Me either. I was a bit bummed Branham left. We never got to see him. He was my kind of dude. Had other interests outside of football. He played piano if I’m not mistaken. I love those different cats. No pun intended.
