I am torn on the runnng up the score issue. Part of me feels if you don’t want the score run up on you play better, another part says why rub it in when you have obviously won the game. I will say he wants his QB to win a Heisman Trophy and was looking to pad his stats at the end. You also can’t really fault the second string kid playing at the end for wanting to show what he can do in the limited PT he gets.As a coach I can’t see telling a kid who has worked his but off all year and finally gets a chance to play to take it easy when he gets in.

Also: complaining about "running up the score" is something losers do. If you don't want them to score, stop them.
