I noticed on a Vandy offensive play where the ball carrier was near the side line and Joseph instead of hitting him with a shoulder, just kinda threw an elbow at him. This kid still has a lot to show me before I call him a star.

No, didn't expect to see Allen. Thought Gatewood would get a few downs but can't fault letting Terry play. The problems was the defense.

Looks like CS has pulled all starters on both sides of the ball. Good move, this game is a disappointed W, because of our defensive woes.

A win is a win but man our defense was ugly today

If we ever get a game where our offense and defense play great, we just might beat a good team!

I was very impressed by young Beau Allen's poise. The kid looks like the real deal. I know we have Joey for three more years if he wants to stay that long, but coach Stoops needs to begin beefing up the receiving corp and begin teaching the Big Blue Wall how to pass block in my opinion.

Mr Dillon, you pretty much summed up some of where I am. Missed the game while out in the field myself. Enjoyed reading all comments.

FYI, “my guess” we won’t play next week with game being moved to 12/12. Allows Bama to whip LSU, which wouldn’t break my heart. (Not a Bama fan, so interrupt as you desire.). GO CATS.

yes I’ll be in stands again come 12/5. I HATE the game poults.

I've been reading some stuff, and the announcers touched on it yesterday as well, that we may not be playing Bama. They're saying something about scheduling changes being necessary. If so, we'd have to play either LSU or Arky. They're the only two we haven't played or aren't scheduled to play.

I think it is telling that in the post-game Stoops said getting Allen in the game was critical for "the future of the program". I think the idea is, "see receivers" this is what we will do when you are here.
