    IF Terry Wilson leaves

At least I got the name.
Wilson is one of only two UK quarterbacks that has beaten Penn State, Tennessee, and Florida in their careers. Two. The other was Ramsey.
Absolutely not by himself...there were guys named Bryant and Still in that mix as well. And guys named Snell, Allen, and many others. Ramsey had Georgia in that mix as well...between the hedges.

We will lose a winner. Now, what do we get? A fresh body that may have more raw talent...but a team that has to buy into him. AND a group of receivers that play like defensive backs...blockers taught to knock down the pass.

not sure what direction this Kentucky team is headed. Especially with as hard a schedule coming up as I have ever seen. Perhaps it is time to look to the future, but regrettably we will face next season with a rebuilt offensive line that loses 3 all conference candidates.

this is a strange spell coming up for UK football.

Wilson leaving (if he does) feels like a coffin nail.

The rumor that Wilson is considering leaving could be a factor in team moral even if he stays. I hope he works things out and decides to remain, but who knows.

My take is this, Terry and his teammates have provided us with lots of thrilling moments with him at the helm and I'm grateful to him, and them, for that. On the other hand, he's had his share of not so great moments as well and if anyone leaves because they lose their starting job, then thanks for the memories and bye bye.

Has anyone ever considered that some of the QB's that have flipped on us like Mac Jones and the kid that went to Miami flipped because of all the grief on social media the armchair coaches have given players that have done things that few have done at here just because they had a bad game? I wouldn't want to come here.

Well, they never played here. They never got to experience the social media grief here. This isn't a UK fan problem only. It's happens at every single program.

Actually, they both flipped because their dream schools came calling. We were always the second choice of both.

Let's be honest...social media pressure isnt just in Kentucky. Kid at UT is all but being tarred and feathered right now, and if Georgia were somehow to lose this next game it would be the same there.

I hope Terry's hand heals and I hope our new quarterback far exceeds my expectations against a ticked off bulldog squad.

Other sites. Which have juuuuuust about as much good information as I do on my couch. BUT...it is out there.

Rumor gets fed with the combination of Wilson getting pulled, his early season "this is enough" announcement, not being at practice for two days and of course his twitter account shutting down. All are just as logically unrelated events, but it adds to rumor.

He did finish the game last Sat. and I didn't noticed him acting like anything was wrong. Just saying.

I was at Lake Barkley taking a break from 2020 last weekend so, mercifully, I did not see the game. I did hear Monday on KSR about Terry’s family criticizing the coaching staff, though, which is not good.

I can understand Terry’s frustration. Between his injury, seeming to be a step slower now, the weirdness of this year and this being a disappointing season, it is probably tough. He has won games against Florida, Tennessee, Louisville, and Penn State while at Kentucky. Coming into this year he was 12-3 as the starter and that’s pretty darn successful.

Absolutely. Terry has had remarkable success especially considering he was a very late addition after the on/off/on/off recruitment of his predecessor.

Terry's big wins are only second to Ramsey...who had a win at Georgia...without the probation thrown on.

Wilson seldom set the world on fire, but he won. Cant ask for much more.

He is hamstrung somewhat this year with an amazingly ineffective receiving Corps that if I recall ALL were at least three star recruits with very solid offers from p5 schools. That lack of development in that particular group has been a hard down in Stoops tenure.

Speaking of the receivers, I wonder if the almost total lack of a passing game, last season, has had any bearing on their under performing this season?
