Folks I’ll tell you this, we will not beat UGA running the football. It may be our strength but when they line up 4 war daddies and three linebackers in the box we will not have much of a chance to move the football. Only when we demonstrate some semblance of a down field passing game will we have any success.

For what it's worth, he's also closed his Twitter account.

Exactly, they have a great front seven. Great enough to stuff the run and shut down the short passes. A few draw plays might loosen them up, I'm not sure about that.

I don't get how people say Gatewood is a great passer. We haven't seen enough of him. And the word I hear is he wasn't a good enough passer at Auburn.

There's some rumors floating around that Wilson is leaving the program. Nothing from any source I would trust, but usually where there's smoke there's fire.

A lot of Auburn people were upset Nix started over him and thought the only reason he did was because his dad played there. You can tell he's throws a good ball from the little college tape we have on him. He went into Auburn with the "Cam Newton number two" lable and he certainly has the size and tools to be that.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did. He knows that he'll probably never play for pay, and I think now that he has a young child he has lost some of his enthusiasm for the game. He made the statement, before the season began, that this would be his last season. Another possible factor might be that he knows he's about to lose his starting job and it's a shock to him. After all, coach Stoops has a reputation of being loyal to the juniors and seniors.

                    I hope not.

Me too. We have 2 quality QB's now and competition can be a good thing if both are willing to work hard and are team players.

To me, Terry has done far too much for us to see him go on bad terms.

You're so right. We need him to be successful.

We could have Mahomes back there it would be hard for him to thrive as this may be the worst wr core i have witnessed.

Rumors fly everywhere. One that substatiates the coaching staff statements is that Wilson injured his hand during the game.
there is another far less plausible that Wilson guitar football all together after the game and Coach gave his some time to reconsider.

neither or perhaps both could have some truth.

I agree. But if he loses the starting job and decides to quit I'm not sure what good terms he could salvage. He seems like a great young man. I hope he sticks around to finish out the year. Even if he decides to quit football he can be on the sideline and not dress and help the younger guys as much as he can.
