I had wondered myself until post game. Coach Stoops said he had broken down crying three times...Coach Schlarmann has apparently had one of his worst weeks in his fight against cancer. Stoops said his O-line coach was very I'll, but delivered the speech to the team.
I think the kids stayed out there in tribute to their line coach.
