I hope I'm wrong but, unless Wilson is injured or totally melts down, I doubt that Gatewood sees any meaningful action this season.Philippians 4:11-4:13👍 3Comment

This seems to be a UK thing. The last UK coach I can remember making a change, unless the starter was injured, was when coach Mumme replaced Dusty Bonner with Jared Lorenzen. And that wasn't because Dusty was a bad QB, he wasn't, it was that coach Mumme thought Jared was better.Philippians 4:11-4:13Comment

If Gatewood is clearly better in practice, I don't think Terry keeps the job. Similarly, if Terry is running the offense fine and not melting down, I don't get the "Put the guy in to see what he can do even though he isn't better in practice" thinking that pervades these types of discussions.
Having Gatewood and Allen heathy means that they can go FULL RPO with Terry and not worry that the season is over if he gets hurt.Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... That seems to be a most every coach thing when one guy "wins the job" in practice.
