Its encouraging to see we controlled the game outside of their one drive and have mixed up the play calling pretty well throughout the half. As others have said AU is lucky not to be down 6 and the officials definitely did not have indisputable evidence of anything to reverse the touchdown.
That being said, we get the ball to start the half and I feel confident we will win this one with another effort like the first half.Last edited by Wamcat; 09-26-2020, 12:40 PM.Comment

Two things.
First, JLoad is absolutely correct. I cannot so much blame a ref for missing the call on the field. We are all human, and that happens. However, there is no excuse at all, absolutely none, for missing the call on the replay.
Secondly, for a program that has a long, long history of being victimized by absurdly bad calls, this may very well rise to the top of that infamous list. IMO, it is worse than the clock expiring at Florida if for no other reason than that replay had the opportunity, indeed, the obligation, to overturn this one.Comment

Yet we still have an opportunity to win this game. Just have to move on and execute in the 2nd half. We can overcome adversity...even when it seems the chips are stacked against us.Two things.
