Popcorn with a nozzle such that you can pour it into your mouth rather than eat with your hands. Hotdogs having a little waxpaper thingy so that you can eat them without touching them with your fingers and other things like that. I know those have been discussed.
I would bet plexiglass shields at cash registers and I'm sure more hand sanitizing stations.
I hope there isn't a mask requirement but I can see that too.

My grandson plays football at an NAIA college in Florida. The president of the school announced today that the fall semester will start on schedule with the students on campus. He also said that the first home football game would be on September 5.. That means that my grandson will probably start team preparations on campus in late July. His season starts on the road in August. His first game is scheduled to be at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Ky. on August 29. The president didn't mention whether that would be played.Comment

My son works at a Big10 school and was advised today the earliest they’ll be back on campus in their offices is August. Seems tight to be showing up less than a month before students. Hope we have kids going to schools on campus. Still concerned about sports, but that’s secondary.Comment

To this end, my daughter will be entering into her senior year at Centre College. They announced earlier this week they’re going to a quarter format for this fall. First quarter starts in August, a tad earlier than planned and end early October. A week break and then the second quarter. This allows their going on-line for the first quarter if needed and returning to class the second if possible. No decision has been made when they move yet, but flexibility is in place. Of course, this works easily for a smaller school than I imagine it would for a larger one. No decision has been made for the second semester yet about going to quarters then, again flexibility is the key.
I do think things will move a little faster than you suggest in your post if there's no horrible second wave. Life is going to change but I don't think people will allow it to change in the ways you're suggesting, particularly not as the weeks go by and people continue to lose their livelihoods and we give ourselves up to tedium. We can't live like we've lived for the past month and a half unless we reach plague-level danger.
But of course that's just speculation on my part. Like all of us, I truly hope we are through this and back to some semblance of our old lives in another month. In any event all best to you and your family and go Centre.Comment

I just read, on Twitter, that Pres. Capilouto said that, barring unforeseen circumstances, students will be on campus in August.Philippians 4:11-4:13Comment

Power 5 schools will end up with Football, Basketball, and however many women's sports it takes to satisfy title ix.
I wonder what UK will to with that new baseball stadium? Move softball over there?Originally posted by John Stuart MillHe who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that... If there are no college sports this year. (And by sports I mean Football) Athletic department's around the country are looking at something akin to bankruptcy and minor sports are toast. Permenantly.
