He didn't misbehave as he did at Arkansas. From what I understand, he treated his staff and players awful and maybe his worst mistake was to hire his son and another relative as assistants. His son was the QB coach.

Yeah, I can see that. I remember reading Satterfield saying before this season started how shocked he was at what he'd heard about the previous staff. The players had never been to a coach's house and had never even been in the staff's office. Just stuff that no coach wanting to run a decent program would ever consider. Like I said, he committed malpractice.

From all accounts Vince Tyra wants to run a good athletics program with some integrity and he seems committed to that. Satterfield and Chris Mack both seem like decent guys.

I agree. But, that’s a mistake for which others at UofL share blame. It shouldn’t have been allowed. I don’t care if it’s Mark Stoops hiring Bob Stoops to work for him: nepotism should not happen in any public institution. Period. No exceptions.

In this case Petrino's son was Lamar Jackson's coach. I wonder what part of his development was engineered by L'il Petrino. If I remember correctly, as a part of Petrino's buyout, he got tickets to football and basketball games. I wonder who has those seats now.
