I have no doubt of that. He's about to be a rich man. Couldn't be happier for him. Every interview he gives all the credit to the O line. He raves about the fans and calls UK his home forever. Loves his little boy. And from his modest beginnings in Youngstown where he said he never expected to live to this age...he should be a legendary Cat in all our eyes.

And, yes...I hope he chooses to play in the bowl game.

No question. He won't be back except to be honored at a future home game. Wish him well. He has been everything we hoped and more when he signed here.

At least we get good players for 3 years.

I agree with everybody....he should go and live his dreams. He's turned into a helluva man and I'm ultra proud of him. As an old UK grad I hope he comes back and finishes his degree. That would be the epitome of awesomeness.

I certainly hope so. His draft stock will never be higher. Sign the contract and both his and his son's futures should be secure for life. On the other hand, he could return and, possibly, suffer a career ending injury and lose out on millions of dollars.

I can hope he would return for his Senior year, but he would be taking a chance and I will applaud him for 3 years as a CAT if he doesn't. I hope he plays in the Bowl game because if he doesn't, I hope we play UL again.

NOTHING better than watching players get better and mature.

I seem to remember that the NCAA used to allow a player in such a situation to buy insurance that paid off in case the player suffered a serious injury. Wodner if that still an option?

That is correct, Los Gatos. I wonder how much a policy like that would cost?

Will be fascinating to see what kind of NFL career he has and how they play him.

Would think he might be an Antwaan Randle El type, but he could also be a devastating slot receiver maybe? I don't know enough about how the NFL works to say but to me the guy looks like a warrior who could really help a franchise.

Behind Tim Couch and maybe Josh Allen, Bowden is the best I've ever seen here.

Ironically without the Wilson injury Bowen likely would never have made your short list. The only way to really see how incredible he is was to put the ball in his hands on every play. Till then he was basically CJ Conrad with a bunch of fans saying get the ball to him more.
