Team has lost focus at halftime. I think they think the game is over.

Not a lot of fire right now. Maybe try outside. OBTW, Smith had some zip on the pass he threw.

It would be great if somebody other than Bowden could gain over 2 yards.

Nice win. Team scrapping with what they have available. SHOULD be a bowl team. Got to beat UT Martin and Vandy and HOPE to beat UL. They have certainly not waved a white flag.

Have to give Stoops and company credit - I was dreading this game because I expected us to lay an egg, and we did not.

Two wins out from our fourth straight bowl game and given what this team has been through, that’s something.

Tennessee and Louisville look tougher than I expected, but Vandy and UT Martin provide a good opportunity.

UL and UT both looked improved on defense. I'm glad we have both in Lexington.

Great win, great atmosphere! Not a big turnout, but those that were there were really into it.

It's amazing to me how many fans jumped ship. Not on here, just in general. Kentucky fans cried for so long about just wanting consistent bowl appearances and Stoops has done that. Then, all of a sudden it's not good enough. If we aren't a ten win, top two of the East, bringing in top ten recruiting classes every year we need to fire Stoops and his staff. I'm one of the few that's a bigger UK football fan than basketball. I'm just as involved with basketball, but football just gets my juices flowing a little more. A lot of people don't see it (either because they just don't care as much or aren't as educated on the sport) but Stoops has this program in a wonderful place. It seems some people think he caught lightning in a bottle with Allen and Snell last year but that's not the case. He has this program set up for a bright future. I think next year we will legitimately compete for the East. What they've done with three injured QBs is wonderful. They hit a rough stretch of good teams with bad timing but they didn't let the team quit. We still have the potential for a nine win season. Every team has injuries (I believe I saw 46 starting QBs in college this year) and we can't worry about what a different team does with their backups. Stoops and Co have brought this young secondary along just fine (the least amount of passing TDs allowed in the country) and our lines are back to pushing people around. I couldn't be more proud of the way they handled a near top 25 team last night. Things are starting to click again and I suspect we will see a much different team these next six games. Go Big Blue.

What a wonderful surprise! I went to bed with a couple of minutes left in the first qtr., and got on the 'net this morning and found out that we had won. Although I miss not having a game every Sat., we need the extra week to get ready for the stretch run.

                      Lynn Bowden, man. Unreal.

Have to give credit to that defensive performance too. Reminiscent of last year. Oats looked like he had a really good game up the middle.

Kentucky miraculously still has a chance to have a special season. II'm sticking with my preseason take that if this team wins 6 given what it lost off last year's roster then that would be a good season. But they're all winnable from this point on.

It was loud in there. I've seen bigger crowds that weren't that loud.

I'm not sure how you take Lynn away from QB the rest of the year. He's shown he can make enough throws to prevent the defense from putting eight or nine in the box. It simply gets the ball in the hands of our best player every single play. With the competition we have left I think you let him finish out the year because our O line should have the advantage the rest of the way.

I've really enjoyed having Kash in this program and he is definitely a leader on D, but Oats is so much more gifted athletically that it provides a little something extra when he's out there. The young talent we have on this team makes me giddy for the future, especially at line backer and in the secondary.

i believe I predicted 8-9 wins but I'm not positive. I'm sticking with that as I don't think we lose the rest of the way.

I don't think you do. He gives us the best shot of winning. He's thrown the ball well considering the weather conditions in two of his three games.

So, you think we're going to run the table with our remaining regular season games, and win a bowl game?
