Can’t believe this wasn’t started yet. We have been in a mess since the Florida game. I want to believe we come out fired up and win a close one. However, we are in such a funk right now that I just can’t see us winning any game until we correct A LOT of issues. I say we lose 28-13. Boy I hope not.

My thoughts center around how Smith has healed up. If he can go close to 100% I think we win, but who knows. Personally I would rather have Bowden running routes than taking snaps, but I would guess he takes more snaps than usual. Defense has to step up and I hope to see more blitz's to put pressure on their QB.

Good points Steve. I hope SS isn't as injured as some of the internet medics have guessed...I've read words like cracked bone in hand and either 'light's shoulder separation or 'mild' rotator tear.
I can't bring myself to disparage Sawyer for trying or the coaches for pulling him.
I CAN throw in the towel if I hear/read of the defense going back into the prevent zone with the twelve yard cushion. That just hasn't seemed to work well for......ever.Comment

Quick update. Georgia loses at home to South Carolina in OT. There will be some serious young men awaiting the Cats visit twixt the hedges. This one seemed to be Gergias infamous yearly 'well, shucks' game.

You know what seems a head scratcher is that overall the green secondary has performed better than expected , but the front 7 so far has seemed oddly out of sync. I read things about the line seeming out of shape and the linebackers small....but these are pretty much the sam as last year, minus one (real good) guy.
gotta wonder if defensive schemes may have a factor in the current problems.Comment

Think about it. We should’ve beat Florida. We looked decent enough in the 2nd half vs Mississippi State. We get smoked by USCjr but “looked good†on the last drive. USCjr just beat Georgia. Yeah baby!
