    I'm guessing here, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that if CMS et al thought Gilmore could possibly be better than Wood on or LB this season, he would be playing. Maybe he will...

        It's frustrating, look at Ole Miss who will probably have a similar win total. They have a RS FR starting QB and two true FR backups who have seen time with similar styles as Gilmore as far as a two way threat.

        I just think a dumbed down playbook with Gilmore is likely better than an injured Smith or Bowden. I just hope Smith can heal enough to be somewhat effective. I doubt we'll find out though.

            At this point I don't think Gilmore sees the field till the last four games. That way he plays but keeps the red shirt.
