I know any injury will affect the team mentally and I hate to see a player, especially one of ours, get hurt but from a purely win-loss perspective, I don't see how much is lost unless the backups are just terrible.

SEC experience, mainly. TW didn't have much last year while everyone else did.
Wilson did.quite a bit with his legs....not sure about Smith.
Everyone is gonna have to crank it up a notch, and Smith will have to learn quick. Else he will get chomped .next week.

Folks Mark things hisQB is gone Anybody that watched our last series of plays knows this. Absolutely 0 chance he calls all those pass plays with the game iced unless he knows his starter is toast. Darn shame for Wilson and our program. Thought we would beat Fla before the game , not so much now

Sorry. I know this comment will not be popular, but where is our class, throwing a TD pass under those circumstances? I don’t care if we get Florida next week or not, you take a knee in that situation. That pass was a James Franklin move.

And you also know the answer to your concern. The Coaches were looking forward to next week with a new QB. I'm sure the other Coach knew and was ok with it.

I didn't get to watch the game because my Hulu didn't get the SEC Alternate (who's bonehead decision was this?), but I'm sick about Terry Wilson. Sounds like it was a dirty play, and it's really unfortunate. Happy that Smith came in and passed for two TDs, but it really puts a question mark on the season going forward.
