Hard to say....but a two txt win with a lot to improve on aint bad.
defense made adjustments at half and held them to 3 except for the fiasco at the end.
Offense was feast or famine BUT:
running backs looked real good
receivers are a whole world better.
three unsportsmanlike penalties are a real down. Shouldn't happen.
This team wasn't chopped liver. That's a solid squad that will give folks fits.

Good game. Lots of film of things to get better at, lots of mental mistakes, and a nice margin before giving up a garbage TD. Toledo was ranked higher than us in some polls. Nice to handle them.
Watching this and other games today, the state of officiating in college football is as terrible as ever.
Whether the targeting call and the "facemask" call were correct, the targeting rules as written or enforced are terrible and ruining the game. END THEM ALL. End Qbs being allowed to slide too.
