LSU Tigers transfer Kelvin Joseph has committed to the Kentucky Wildcats, according to Justin Rowland. Secondary coach Steve Clinkscale led the charge for the former top-50 overall recruit.

Too bad he's not eligible this season.

Maybe he can't play this year but this helps our future look better and better. Imagine how surprised football experts must be!

Kind of worried about the defense this year, but i'm excited for the future.

IF everyone sticks and develops, Kentucky is certainly building a defense that in a year or two will be stout as anyone.

^ I noticed the Big IF and that's always a concern, but CS is going after the best and he's getting more and more every year. Come on over young Man.

Stoops’ scout team, with two 4 star kids (Joseph and Peters), is a better team than the units Joker recruited to field as starters. That might be true even without those two.

The talent, depth, and every other aspect of the roster has changed remarkably since Stoops’ arrival.

Roster attrition happens everywhere, but it has been less impactful at Kentucky than in the past or in comparison to most other schools. It appears this staff has a good eye for identifying and avoiding problem kids, and identifying and pursuing kids with good heads on their shoulders. It hasn’t been 100% and never will be at any school. And I know a handful of kids have been dismissed for unfortunate reasons. But by the numbers and by impact on the team, it has been about as minimal as it can be in recent years under Stoops.
