What did you think of Florida?

UF Miami game, caught the end of it. If Miami is unranked, and UF is top 10, then the range in between isn't a whole lot.

Think our OL will fair better against the UF DL? I'd rather have TW than JW.

Maybe because it was the first game of the season, but the brief instances I caught of it Florida looked sloppy and somewhat undisciplined for a top 10 team.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

With an additional week of practice I hope we look a little cleaner Saturday than UF looked. But I wouldn't judge them too harshly over an August 24th game. And I hate to say it but Stoops' teams here have not traditionally looked ready to go on labor day weekend. In fact the last couple of years they kind of looked like they didn't realize it was gameday.

I forgot the game was on so only saw some of the end. I wasn't impressed with UF's front 4, and if Terry has time he could be deadly. I imagine UF's practices will have a new focus.

They have the talent and the coach. I expect them to be firing on all cylinders when we play them.

First game feeling their ways. Miami's o-line is really bad right now. Felipe Franks has a new first name...Inconsistent.
Florida will be a different team when they come to Kroger.

As did I. The D-line looked pretty solid at times but on the whole, it was really undisciplined. Had Jarren Williams been less indecisive, that 1st down on 4th and 34 coulda cost them the game.

Florida impressed me last year with their speed and quickness. They still have that speed and quickness. I expect them to use that speed to try and get outside, a lot. Play was sloppy even it if was the first game. Lots of mistakes on both sides. I'm not sure they are a top 10 team. Franks? He made some mistakes that should have cost them the game. Miami just made more. I'm not in awe of either team.

I watched the entire game. I wanted to see how we match-up. Florida's Defense was really impressive. The fact that to win Florida had to rely on trick plays and fluke mistakes by Miami leaves me with hope. It was a close game and I doubt that Florida will be ranked #8 next week.

Franks made some unbelievable pass completions. We must get to him and harass him all afternoon. If he has time, he may take advantage of our youth in the defensive backfield.

One thing...Franks was on the sideline when a Miami ball-carrier came flying into the sideline. He tried to grab Franks to break his fall. FRANKS jerked back and was obviously not going to help the opposing player avoid injury. It was not Franks's(sic) responsibility but it told me something about Franks. He will not be my favorite player from here on.

They looked rather terrible honestly. The only shining light being the D-Line but it's hard to tell with what little resistance they saw. That said, when UT plays them they'll look like the sharpest team out there. Franks throwing dime after dime.

Edit: Oh and the wait is almost over folks!! So ready for Saturday!

Florida's O Line was an area of concern before the season began. They looked worse than I thought. Their D line looked good, but then Miami's O line isn't good either. Sorta mixed reviews. They will be pumped when they play us. I can't stand Felipe Franks and I hope we pummel him into submission. I like our chances but let's get the first two out of the way first.
