I saw on another site that Derrick Baity has signed a FA deal with the Texans.

I THINK George was a seventh round pick.

awaiting to see if West and Jones get calls.

To be absolutely honest, and this is a crying shame, I had forgotten about Dorian Baker. He certainly has the body for the NFL. If the QB just doesn't hit him in the hands, he might be pro bowl caliber.

Darius West also signs UDFA. Giants.
leaves Jordan . His history of uncontrolability plus not staying elegible for the Citrus bowl just may have made him the longest of shots. A shame if so. When he was playing under control, he was a fine prospect.

Just a strange fact I found.....the third highest number of players contributing significant (40 percent) of NFL playing time are undrafted free agents.
probably because there are so many .in 2017, 775 players were signed as UDFA.

Just saw that myself. I wonder if House pointed out the Chiefs need help in the secondary. A plus being an UDFA is that the players have a choice. Some of those guys yesterday had phones at both ears listening to offers.

The general consensus is a lot of the guys that signed in the first hour after the draft knew as much as a day ahead that teams had FA interest.

From what I've seen, both George and Bunchy went to teams needing o-line help that wasn't addressed in the draft.
Field is a bit more crowded for Bennie. Steelers will now have five running backs in camp....at least.

The biggest surprise to me throughout the entire draft and pre-draft process is that Bunchy Stallings was not even invited to the combine and then went undrafted. How does that happen to a first team AA? Does anybody know what was the rap on him?

Word tonight is that Darius West has accepted a mini camp offer with Oakland. I don't know if he has signed a contract or if this is an unpaid invite.
