This win must have been so sweet for the football-only/football-first fans who stuck with the team through everything. Who traveled, sat through beatdowns in horrid weather, who stayed optimistic, who stuck behind Stoops, who renewed season tickets. When that horn went off today I imagine the pride in those folks' hearts was immense.

We'll be telling our grandchildren about Benny and Josh Allen. I thought Benny's postgame interview was especially great. His comment about coming to Kentucky and just wanting to win a spot should be a lesson to any young athlete. That's a testament not just to talent but to hard work, perseverance, and old-fashioned grit.

      A team for the ages.

You left out having to listen to basketball people say "basketball is just around the corner", and people on various message boards calling for Mark Stoops head on a platter because he doesn't want to throw the ball 50 times a game.

Out of respect for the Ladies and any children that come to our site, I try to eliminate any unnecessary language used to make a point. Most on here, including yourself, don't need bad language to make a point. Unfortunately a few are not intelligent enough.

The ladies I know cuss more than the men. My wife drops way more f-bombs than I do.

Personally I like a woman who cusses, but that's for another thread.

Lol, you've both patronized women and insulted people's intelligence in one comment. Great job.

To actually "patronize women" it would necessitate the inclusion of a "sense of superiority". Impossible to derive that from the comment as written. Holding a more traditional view about decorum and traditional gender preferences isn't in and of itself patronizing.

It would have been better and more accurate to simply state, "I don't mind swearing and I dislike the editing of posts that contain the same".

He did insult the vague someone's intelligence. It isn't clear that he insulted anyone participating in this thread and he paid you a compliment in the process.

I'm so glad the Kentucky Wildcat Football Team finally reached double-digit wins in a season culminating in a win over a good "traditional power" program. Hopefully, there is more to come.

I think if we brought up a whole seasons worth of posts ALL of us could have our intelligence brought into question. 😋

I am so happy to have eaten crow all year I could bust.

Very proud of this program and hope next year brings a winning season. I realize though that football is a really strange game with a lot of odd bounces.

Great win for Kentucky and a great season but i want more. Stoops has continued to get better each and every season and proved Kentucky can play in the SEC and compete, hopefully he is just getting started and is committed to building this thing from the ground up into a power house football program....

I am actually really excited to see how good we will be next year. I can't see us being improved from this year, but I don't think the drop off will be as big as some naysayers believe.

A man insinuating he is performing service to protect women from seeing a swear word is patronizing...

But, I don't mind swearing (F-bombs excluded, possibly) and think editing posts that contain words written in the Bible is dumb. Better?
