Georgia was a better team. That's really all there is to say.

          Lets finish this 10-2.

A few comments on today's game:

UK has had more than its fair share of poor attempts at game day atmosphere that are terrible: Two Bits, Cotton Eyed Joe, etc. They've done some things better lately, but they need to throw in the towel on that terrible third down gimmick that gets variously described as a band kid messing up on purpose or R2-D2's gay bar mating call. It's embarrassingly lame. If you tried to come up with a third down sound effect designed to not intimidate the visiting time and not fire up the home team, that's about what you would come up with.

When they sold the name of the field and changed it from C.M. Newton Field to Kroger Field, they should've foregone putting up the "C.M. Newton Grounds" sign. That was the perfect opportunity to remedy the mistake of naming the place where the football team plays after a basketball-focused AD. Name something at Rupp after Newton, not something at the football stadium.

Kentucky played an excellent football team today. Kentucky's offense functions better when it pushes the tempo and clock. That really seems to be the biggest difference between when it executes successfully and when it doesn't, particularly in the passing game.

On that last drive and the final fourth down play, they should've kicked the FG. They were down by three scores. Minor quibble in the big scheme of things, but take the points and attempt the onside kick.

I'm quite a bit older than you, teamchemistry15, but the 1977 season was the most exciting I've ever witnessed. That team was solid all around, and had one of the best (at that time) coaches in the business.

Well not the outcome I wanted but this can still be a good season if we can finish out

Not to nit pick, but it's been 41 years. The 1977 team was 8-1 after nine games.

You know I wondered about that going in, and that may very well be true, but the Dawgs are just better than us.

Move past it beginning in the morning, and capture the rest of the season. If you stood in front of me this preseason and asserted we could win 10 regular season games, which we still can do, I would demand a drug screen from you. So learn from the film and let's get ready for UT. I assure you they're chomping at the bit for a chance to beat us.

AGREE. So much to be proud of this year...and now is not the time to begin piling on. Our next game...against UT...is a season-defining game. I hope we bring a "chip-on-our shoulder" attitude to this game.

Fun crowd, bad game. Their skill guys are very good. I still hate the targeting rule.

Terry played well, but inexplicably left a td on the field with a bad read.

                              Still pumped to be 7-2.

I did read that Stallings won't miss any further time. But West is out the first half of the next game.
