Georgia is the best team UK has played to date. True, they aren't as good as last year but they are still very very good. UK has been out to break streaks and set new standards all season. They have done a very good job of that too. This one may just be too tough to overcome. If the offense had looked better in recent weeks I may have picked the Cats. But I'm afraid this lack of offense will finally catch up to them this week. I hope I'm wrong as I would like for one time in my life see UK in an SEC championship game But I'm afraid it won't be this year.

    UGA 20
    UK 6

The game is Saturday at 3:30 pm and will be televised by CBS.

The dream of a fairytale season comes to an end. Fortunately, the dream of a historic season will still be alive after Saturday. I think the stage will be a bit too big, and the margin for error Kentucky has been playing with because of the offense is going to catch up with them. The Cats lose a tough one.

I don't expect a blow out either way, and again my head says one thing and my heart another. IF Benny is totally back to strength and the OL wins the trench battle, we can do this. So,

This one is really hard for me to come up with a prediction. So many variables. Who's banged up? Who's healthy?. Which QB will be the best version of themselves? I have more confidence in predicting Paschal will enter the game for some plays than I do the final score. Kirby Smart is already coaching saying good things about us. Beware Greeks bearing gifts. And then there's Matt's prediction that makes me feel better. If he had picked us to win I would be really troubled about this game. Ky 24 Ga 17. I may change the spread after I go to Ga sites and get some more information.

I am gonna keep with the Defense! We still do not allow more than 20 in a game. KENTUCKY 24 UGA 17.

Defense for UK gets a turnover for a touchdown!! Hopefully

I'd be a bit surprised if it's a total blowout because our defense is good. But, if we get behind we can't run which means more of Terry's passing which could be a major problem.

Unfortunately, I think UGA is a lot better than UK. I just hope the loss hangover does not carry into the Tennessee game next week.

                          UGA - 27
                          UK - 12

Even those picking us to win seem to think Georgia is the better team. But then the question becomes, where?

In in the OL? I don’t think #o.
In the DL? I don’t think so.
At LB? I don,t think so.
                            In the secondary? Nope.
WRs? Probably on the whole, yes. But, we have Bowden.
                            RB? A draw.
QB? Yes, but our rush may offset a relatively immobile UGA QB.
Special teams? UGA has a great place kicker, but we may have the edge in punting.

Where UGA really has us beat, hands down, is in the football brand. Hopefully, we will all pretty much ignore that.

So often, teams win just because they believe they can. And so often, teams lose just because they do not believe they can win. We have seen that work to our advantage in basketball time after time. I think that is the only reason we lost the Texas A&M game. We just did not fully realize that we could win. I think we know now that we can.

You make some good points (SBCatMan)

I think a lot of predictions are based more on the logo on the helmet and not the team on the field
