    Georgia

Georgia ran ten plays against Florida from inside the 7 yard line yesterday. Zero resulted in TDs.

Georgia started one drive at the Florida 1 yard line. Six plays later that drive ended at the Florida 1 and a half yard line.

Georgia gave up 29 points, 221 passing yards, 174 rushing yards, 4 rushing TDs, and 26 first downs to Missouri. Missouri gifted Georgia 3 turnovers and missed a FG attempt and Georgia still only beat Missouri by two scores.

This Georgia team is not invulnerable.

I wonder how much of a dog we'll be?

I'm going to say Georgia will be favored by 8 1/2.

I actually think it will be double digits. The name Georgia carries a lot of clout with the oddsmakers.

But this is a different UGA team. Very good yes, but certainly not unbeatable.

I would bet the line is UGA by 10 or 11.

Crazy that a (likely) top 12 team will be a double digit underdog at home.

Although it has meant nothing so far, I expect us to be a huge underdog. I pray we can find some offense in this game. If we can, we win. I didn't think 15 points would beat Missouri. I feel so much better that this game is at home.

The ONLY thing making us an underdog each week now is the uncertainty of our offense.

UGA will probably be a 13 or 14 point favorite.

If UK can't find a way to score more than one TD from their offense they have no shot in this game. Defense will keep them in it like always but they have to score a couple of TD's at the very least. Probably need more than 20 pints to win this one. Also defense will face a team with more playmakers than anyone else they have faced. This will be their biggest challenge yet.

I would guess Georgia open -11. Or more.

Not surprised at all. Georgia football is blue blood. Kentucky is clawing up.

Wouldn't want it any other way.

I started following the Cats during the Rick Norton years. I don't recall UK being in a bigger game then this one with Georgia. Win THIS game and........

Right now, Georgia probably is ten points better than Kentucky. Not gonna complain about the line. We just have to come out hungrier and fight. This Georgia team is not invincible.

I go back to the John ray years of the early 70's. Although the 1977 team was great they were on probation and couldn't go to a bowl game and weren't eligible for the SEC title. So in effect none of their games mattered. No other team has really come close to a winner take all game like this one. The 2007 team was really good. The Florida game was a big one that year but they couldn't win. It also wasn't as big as this one.
I just hope UK makes a good account for themselves. Hopefully playing at home will get them over any stage fright they may have. If they can stay close anything could happen as we saw in Missouri this past weekend. If they can stay within 10 points going into the 4th qtr they have a shot.
